Powered by Citizen's proprietary Eco-Drive technology, the Ecosphere Collection not only protects nature, it is also inspired by it. The three timepieces in this collection – representing Air, Water, and Earth – showcase the beauty of our natural environment. A sleek black stainless steel case houses the 3-hand dial, complemented by a lab-grown diamond marker at 12 o'clock, symbolizing sustainable design. The watch is finished with sapphire crystal for added durability.

The Ecosphere's blue knitted strap incorporates ECOPET, a polyester-based material created from recycled clothing and plastic bottles. This exemplifies biomimicry, as the porous structure of the fabric prevents the absorption of sweat, much like a sea sponge. The ultra-lightweight WHOLEGARMENT fabric provides superior stretch and durability. Its seamless construction minimizes waste, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable practices.

Lab-grown Diamonds

These diamonds are created in laboratories and possess a brilliance and hardness identical to natural diamonds. This sustainable approach avoids the need for diamond mining.

ECOPET

Used plastic bottles are collected and melted down to create recycled polyester fiber. This process reduces waste and minimizes our impact on the environment.

Knitted Bands

WHOLEGARMENT is a seamless knitting technique that eliminates cut losses and reduces yarn waste. The washable material is designed to last and retain its beauty.

Sapphire Glass

This high-transparency, hard, and durable material is widely used for watch crystals, ensuring long-term use and wear.

The CITIZEN LADIES ECOSPHERE COLLECTION offers an elegant and eco-friendly alternative to traditional timepieces. Each watch comes with a five-year limited coverage, and when registered online or through the My Citizen App, customers will receive an additional year of coverage for a total of six years. Setting instructions and manuals are available through Citizen's website and app.

In addition to creating sustainable timepieces, Citizen also partners with organizations such as Disney, Everybody Solar, American Forests, and 1% for the Planet to protect and restore the earth. Replacement straps, bracelets, and links may be available for certain models through Citizen's self-service portal.
